It is a return of a successful director after four years of his ‘Krishnan Marriage Story’. That is Nutan Umesh hailing from northern Karnataka with a basic profession of ‘Chitrakale’.  He is on a theory ‘Destroy what Destroys you’.

Nutan Umesh knocked the doors of a few producers and heroes for his original scripts. It missed out and he returns with ‘Asthitwa’. Dr Shivarajakumar and Kichcha Sudeep graced the muhurut of the film at Kanteerava studio on Wednesday morning.

Nutan Umesh thought of making a remake subject ‘Naan’ that was in Tamil three years ago. Vijay Anthony was hero of this film. He has changed his mind it seems for a new script in his kitty. Vijay Anthony is just scoring music for this film.

‘Asthitwa’ has very prominent caption of the freedom movement of India – Do or Die (Maadu Illave Madi was familiar then). The protagonist is Yuvaraj. A youth today to keep up his identity makes all efforts. That is the crux of the film of this San City Production. BS Vishwa Karyappa is producer of this film.

Vijay Anthony is scoring music for three bits and three main songs. It is 55 days schedule of shooting with Rakesh as cameraman.
